Somer Taylor is a visual artist from the DMV, and moved to San Francisco for college, and then Oakland shortly after. Living in the Bay Area has given the artist a new community to engage with and serve.

Most of their work deals with death and grieving. This artist has had to accept death as a part of life at a young age, and at a time where death has become normalized and desensitized— like it has these past three years. Somer strives to normalize grief and healing through difficult times.
