Designer - she/hers
Maya is 4th year Design Major and Human Rights Minor at the University of California, Davis. Much of her experience is in digital art and illustration, which she has been doing for the past four years. Maya loves to challenge herself and aspires to be a well-rounded designer by learning how to infuse her creative side into different design areas. As an artist, she hopes to continue to developing her personal style and one day be involved in mural and public artwork.
Beyond her studies, Maya works at the UC Davis Health IT Department as a User Experience and Visual Design Intern, and also volunteers as a Peer Education Intern at the UC Davis Center for Advocacy, Resources, and Education (CARE). In her free time, you can catch her in the craft store stocking up on crochet, jewelry making, and craft supplies for her various hobbies and pastimes, or at any local coffee shop trying something new and continuing to give her teeth that good coffee stain. Maya also loves to exercise and try new physical activities, and is currently learning how to longboard!
