Words from the Artist:

What do you do when rigidity takes shape?
Where does it come from and how do we unlock it?

Alex asks these questions in times of uncertainty and constant shift. Through spoken poetry and movement, she provides a gentle reminder of how we can find connection through collective movement and phrases strung together and through repetition of the mundane -- all the while finding a collective force that rebels our own rigidities across body and soul.

The Women’s Foreign Policy Group advances women’s leadership in international affairs and amplifies their voices through substantive global issue discussions and mentoring. Founded over 20 years ago, WFPG works tirelessly to expand the foreign policy dialogue across political divides and generations, and to support women at every stage of their careers. Through mentoring and career development programs, we connect aspiring leaders with role models, providing students and young professionals with the tools they need for career advancement and to contribute to a stronger, more peaceful, and equitable society.
