Words from the Artist:

I started writing poetry (seriously) as a mental health exercise, even if I didn't have the words for it yet. Writing is my way of organizing my thoughts, and the world. Lady Macb is a mixture of my love for theatre and my love for poetry, both of which have aided my mental health tremendously through the years. It's also one of the first times I officially named the feelings that my OCD can invoke.

The International OCD Foundation is dedicated to helping those affected by obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders to live full and productive lives. The organization's aim is to increase access to effective treatment through research and training, foster a hopeful and supportive community for those affected by OCD and the professionals who treat them, and fight stigma surrounding mental health issues.
